Recorded in Herbert Place Studios in Dublin in June 2017 to celebrate the 10th anniversary of the ensemble foundation. Thank you to our families and friends for their patience at our rehearsals and recording.

This musical piece has been created in order to capture annual Christmas concerts organised by members of FS Ostroha in Dublin. The recording represents a mixture of Christmas carols from various Slovak regions, combined with extracts from favourite shepherd play which is spoken in multiple dialects. The shepherds theme is supported by traditional musical instruments such as fujara, jaw harp, bells. With this CD, we hope to get you into the Christmas spirit.
