The Old Slavonic Mass is composed on Old Slavonic texts from the time of Sts Cyril and Methodius, which were approved by Pope Hadrian II in Rome in 867. The work uses the texts of the Roman Missal in Old Slavonic published in Olomouc in 1992.
Composed in 2012, the work is the only one of its kind in its scoring and rendering. The publication of the recording was supported by the Fund for the Support of the Arts.
